Selena Gomez recently tweeted she auditioned for a new movie, and we think we know what it is! According to Variety, the 19-year-old starlet is “in talks” to star in a new movie called Spring Breakers, along with Emma Roberts, Vanessa Hudgens and James Franco. Isn’t that an awesome cast?
Written by Harmony Korine, the film is about four college girls who rob a restaurant in order to get money for their trip to the beach with “a rapping drug and arms dealer who bails them out of jail and entices them to kill his arch-rival,” who would be played by James.If all goes as planned, Emma Roberts, will reportedly play a southern girl who “feeds off danger,” and Selena will be a religious girl who “isn’t a thrill-seeker like the rest of the group.”
Even though this movie sounds like a far cry from any Disney films in which Selena and Vanessa starred in the past, we think it’ll be fantastic if it’s green lit.
